Kenosha native son Orson Welles, portrayed by area resident Ryan Farrell, is taking on the identity of “The Kane Shadow.” The title of this episode is “The Library Mystery.” The “Kane Shadow” name, created by Steven Brown and the late Michael Ullstrup, combines Welles’ acting roles in both “Citizen Kane,” and “The Shadow.” Also appearing in this mystery are the fictional characters Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.
In addition, a special recorded guest appearance by Kathy Garver, who played “Cissy” in the CBS Television series “Family Affair” is featured as mystery author Agatha Christie. In this story, there are many books found on the shelves in the library with one page number underlined in pencil. Many questions are asked regarding this very strange occurrence. Members of the 101.3 Players starring in this broadcast include: Ryan Farrell, Siegfried Christoph, Brett Houdek, Ann Marie Schmid, Natalie La Voie, Kathy Zuhlke, Mike Bavido, Todd Eaves, Luke Rush, Jim McClure, and Shirley Edwards. And, as previously mentioned, special guest star Kathy Garver.

JONATHAN AND JENNIFER HART are a wealthy couple who lead a glamorous lifestyle and regularly find themselves working as unpaid detectives to solve crimes, even murders! Jonathan is the CEO of Hart Industries, a global conglomerate based in Los Angeles. His wife Jennifer is a freelance journalist. Living the jet set lifestyle, the Harts often find themselves involved in cases of smuggling, theft, corporate and international espionage and, most commonly, murder.
THE SETUP FOR THE MURDER
In this murder mystery, the Harts are once again spending a few weeks here in Delavan, Wisconsin, and as always, they are staying in a beautiful suite of rooms at Lake Lawn Resort.
Having just arrived at the resort, they are both relaxing in the Lookout Bar, enjoying their favorite bottle of Cabernet wine. Jennifer suddenly gets a text message on her iPhone from a number unknown to her. It simply says….”HART to HART---? NO HEART!!!
The Harts want to give their charity committee gourmet Valentine’s Day chocolate hearts as a thank-you. But then, when one of those chocolate hearts ends up causing the death of a local area businessman, can Jonathan and Jennifer figure out what is going on before someone else tries the "special" chocolates from an unknown admirer?
WHO IS MURDERED??
Thaddeus Reynolds, a local area businessman, is found slumped over the steering wheel of his dark red sportscar. Next to him is a box of dark chocolate hearts, and two of them are missing…with 2 candy wrappings on the passenger side seat. The Walworth County coroner reports a week later that after an autopsy was done on Mr. Reynolds, it is determined that he was poisoned from the two chocolate hearts he had consumed.
